St. Katherine Seniors Club

For Members of St. Katherine's Parish 55 and older. Social gatherings and fellowship.

The St. Katherine Seniors are not yet ready to take to their rocking chairs. They are an active group who enjoy outings, informative speakers and good food.

Our February meeting took us on a pseudo-safari to the dark continent, Africa. Our terrific guide was Chrysanthea Brothers whose video narrated the trip she and her husband had the pleasure of taking. The video showed flora and fauna in their cage free habitat roaming God’s beautiful plains. Thank you dear friends, Craig and Chrysa for taking us on this armchair journey that most if not all of us would never experience. Some of our future possibilities, being considered are: 1) Guided tour of our beloved Cathedral (St. Sophia) with lunch at Papa Christo’s, 2) St. Antonio Winery Lunch and tour of winery, 3) New Clifton Cafeteria and 4) Our Play presented on (mark the date) Sunday, June 10 after church, with lunch and an extra special guest performer. Our stay-in meetings always include Dr. Jim Dimitriou with updates of event happenings in Greece followed by an always delicious lunch served up by Chef Chris Loukatos – by the way any member who brings a prospective member to one of our meeting gets their own and their neophyte friend’s lunch for free. Our meetings are a get together—dine, learn from and have fun. Try us once and we are sure you will join us again.
