Resurrection Hymn (Tone Seven):  Κατέλυσας τῷ Σταυρῷ σου
O Lord, by Your sacred Cross You abolished death, and granted unto the thief blessed paradise. The Myrrh-bearers ceased lamenting and turned to joy. The Apostles did preach the Good News at Your command, that You had risen from the dead O Christ our God, bestowing Your mercy upon the world evermore.

Apolytikion for the Veneration of the Holy Cross (Tone One - Ἦχος α')
Save, O Lord, save Your people and bless Your inheritance. Give victory to those who battle evil, and protect us all by Your Holy Cross.

The COVID19 pandemic and how it is affecting our St. Katherine community
In the ongoing effort to halt the spread of the coronavirus, our parish is complying with CDC (Centers for Disease Control) protocols and following the directives of our local health and civil officials.  As of 3/19 all activities and meetings are cancelled.  Worship services will continue as scheduled but public attendance is prohibited; only clergy, one chanter and one altar assistant will be allowed in the sanctuary.  You are welcome to participate from home by watching a live feed of our services available on the parish’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/St-Katherine-Greek-Orthodox-Church-106321609411949/ In addition, in order to comply with yesterday’s “shelter in place order” from California’s governor, the church office will also close until the order is rescinded. We regret the inconvenience. We thank you for your patience, understanding and participation. We anticipate that the COVID19 pandemic will abate in the near future so we can return to our normal routine of worship and activities.
